Refund Policy

1. General refund policy

Payments made for courses, workshops, memberships, consultancy services, publication support, and other services are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

2. Eligible refund situations

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

• Duplicate payments;
• Technical payment errors;
• Cancellation of a program or event by ABS Research Academy;
• Inability to deliver the purchased service due to internal operational issues.

Approved refunds may require 7–21 business days for processing depending on the payment provider.

3. Non-refundable services

The following are generally non-refundable:

• Completed workshops or training sessions;
• Downloadable digital products or materials;
• Consultancy and mentoring sessions already delivered;
• Editorial, proofreading, and data analysis services already initiated;
• Journal publication and processing fees;
• Membership registration fees;
• Customized academic services.

4. Course and workshop cancellation

Participants may request cancellation before the program starts.

If approved:

• Partial refunds may be issued after deducting administrative or processing fees;
• Refund eligibility depends on the timing of cancellation and program policy.

No refunds are provided after substantial participation or course completion.

5. Failure to attend

Failure to attend workshops, webinars, or scheduled sessions does not automatically qualify for a refund.

6. Certificate and verification fees

Fees related to certificate issuance, verification, or digital validation systems are non-refundable once processing has started.

7. Publication and journal services

Publication-related payments, including APCs, editing, formatting, DOI processing, or publication management fees, are generally non-refundable after editorial or production work has begun.

8. Chargebacks and payment disputes

Unauthorized chargebacks or fraudulent payment disputes may result in:

• Suspension of services;
• Termination of accounts;
• Restriction from future services.
